4 dies at NBMCH. New Cases: 36 from Sikkim, 20 from Coochbehar, 4 from Kalimpong, 8 from Siliguri, 3 from Kurseong, 20 from Coochbehar, 2 from Alipurduar, 30 released after recovery

KalimNews, Kalimpong, 12 June 2020: 

4 of Respiratory Intensive Care Unit (RICU) unit of NBMCH died this morning. Two are from Rajganj and Chamsimukhi of Jalpaiguri and  tested negative.Test reports of other two is awaited.

As 2 persons related to fish market and a sanitary worker of fruits and vegetable complex has tested positive, fish market of Siliguri regulated market is closed by the administration for 7 days. At the same time the regulated market committee has closed fruits and vegetable complex of the regulated market for a week.

Kalimpong: 4 new cases is reported of which 3 cases are from Gorubathan while one case is from Kalimpong I.They are from Forest  Busty, Dalim Busty, Nim Busty, And Gitdabling of Kalimpong

Of the 12 of Kalimpong district who were reported positive on 10 June and admitted on 11 & 12 June at Dr. Chhang's SS Covid hospital are 21 year female of Bhotey Dhara Relli Road Ward XI, 34 year male of Godam line Upper Fagu, 28 year female of Factory line Mission Hill, 30 year female of Mukti Bridge Shermali,  40 year female of Mal Busty, 33 year male of Upper Tindhurey, 38 year old of  Kumai Upper Guard Line, 24 year female of CFC Village,  31 year male of 46 Dhura, 20 year male of 52 block Gairibas, 33 year male of Upper Tindhurey,  35 year male of 46 Dhura and 23 year male of Middle Suruk (originally of Duars).

  

Kurseong: 3 new cases of Covid is reported from Kurseong, they are 1 from Ambotia, 2 from Naya Kaman of Tindharia.

Siliguri: 8 cases is reported from Siliguri M C area. They are 2 from ward no. 46 , 1 from ward no. 45 (one female whose husband is a Covid patient), and one each from ward nos. from  44 (mother of covid patient),  40, 26  and a 28 year old female of ward no. 17.

Beside that a  doctor of Matigara BPHC doing duty at Dr. Chhang’s SS hospital has tested positive.

Jalpaiguri: 54 were reported infected last night of them 12 are from Nagarkatta.

Coochbehar: 20 new cases is reported, 241 confirmed cases, 95 released, 145 active cases

Alipurduar: 2 cases reported. 46 Confirmed case, 15 Recovered, 30 active cases.All are admitted at Tapsikhata Covid hospital.

Malda: No new cases.

Sikkim: Sikkim reports a record 36 new cases on a single day. Total 60 confirmed cases: Total active cases 57, while 3 have been recovered.

Released: 15 patients were recovered today. 

1 doctor of NBMCH, the superintendent of NBMCH recovered and released today.  

One of Upper guard line Kumai on 10th June and 2 Civic police of 10th mile and 16th Mile Kalimpong tested negative.

Covid hospital

In Dr. Chhang’s Super Speciality Covid hospital there are 65 patients. 

30 patients after testing negative were released today. 

26 patients of GTA area are in the Dr. Chhang’s SSC hospital. There are 10 patients, they are -1 of Sonada, 1 of Mirik, 7 of Kurseong, and 1 of Nagarifarm.  16 of Kalimpong (1 of Kalimpong Municipality, 1 of Relli Road, 1 of Sherpa gaon, 1 of Malli Road, 1 of Middle Bong Busty, 1 of Rambi Reang, 1 of Tindhurey 1 of Kumai and 8 of Gorubathan)

NBMCH

KalimNews, Kalimpong, 12 June 2020: 

Presently in North Bengal Medical College and Hospital patients are admitted with symptoms similar to Covid 19. 

There are 3 patient in Isolation ward I, 3 patients in gynecological isolation ward, 2 in RICU isolation ward while in surgical ward there are 3 patients. 

DESUN

In DESUN Covid Hospital at Kawakhali, 48 Covid-19 patients are admitted. 

GTA

KalimNews, Kalimpong, 12 June 2020: 

The number of people in home quarantine in the district of Darjeeling is 3136 and in Kalimpong district it is 1565, the tally of GTA area stands to 4701. 

Altogether there are 264 persons in 27 institutional facility quarantines of GTA.

Today’s daily state bulletin stated that Darjeeling district has 210 confirmed cases of which 52 have recovered and 3 died while 155 are active cases. Similarly Kalimpong district has 47 confirmed cases of which 11 have recovered, 1 died and 35 are active cases. Alipurduar has 40 confirmed cases of which 7 have recovered while 33 are active cases. Jalpaiguri has 169 confirmed cases of which 32 have recovered and 137 are active cases. CoochBehar has 241 confirmed cases of which 95 have recovered and 145 are active cases.
