KalimNews, Kalimpong, 19 June 2020: Two more Covid patients dead: A 74 year male of Uttar Raikatpara -Jalpaiguri admitted in Isolation ward of North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH) died today. Jibendra Nath was admitted with urine and heart complications last night. He died this morning and his swab test was done and late in the evening it was known that he tested positive. Another 75 year old patient of Ashrampara ward no. 14 also died today. Kishore Shivaji Bishnu was admitted at Desun Covid hospital and tested positive. This evening he died. Siliguri: 9 positive cases are reported today from Siliguri MC. They are 3 from ward no. 37, 2 from ward no. 14 and one each from 16, 22, 25, and 31. 3 patients of Isolation ward of NBMCH have found to be Covid positive. They belong to Siliguri Sub division. A CISF personnel also tested positive. All are admitted at Covid hospital. Condition of Chairman Ashoke Bhattacharya is stable. Discharge: 6 Covid patients of Gorubathan who tasted twice negative were discharged from the Covid hospital. Jalpaiguri: 4 new cases are reported from Jalpaiguri. 1 person died he was admitted at SARI hospital of Jalpaiguri and later referred to NBMCH. Tally of district is 272 Confirmed cases in the district and 137 have recovered and 135 active cases. Malda: 11 new cases from the district reported. In the district there are 360 Confirmed cases, 200 recovered and 60 active cases. Coochbehar: No cases of Covid 19 infection is reported today. The complete report of the district is 282 confirmed cases of which 2 are nationals of Bangladesh and one of them had died 227 recovery and 51 active cases. Alipurduar: No new case is reported today from Alipurduar. In the district there are 106 Confirmed cases, 50 recovered and 53 active cases.NBMCH NBMCH: There are 6 patients in Isolation ward and one patient in surgical isolation ward of North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH). 3 patients of Respiratory ICU have tested positive. 1 patient from Dudhia admitted at NBMCH while 2 patients of Jaldhaka were released. Covid hospital At Dr. Chhang’s Super Speciality Covid hospital 49 patients are admitted. 6 patients of GTA area are in the Dr. Chhang’s SSC hospital. There are 3 patients of Darjeeling district, they are -1 of Frymal Village, 1 of Ambotia,1 of Tindharia. 3 are from Gorubathan of Kalimpong district. 6 patients were released – they are- 1 of 12 Dhurey, 1 of Middle Bong Busty, and 4 of Gorubathan DESUN hospital KalimNews, Kalimpong, 19 June 2020: 1 Covid patient of Ashrampara ward no 14 died today. DESUN hospital is the second Covid hospital of Siliguri. In DESUN Covid Hospital at Kawakhali, 16 Covid-19 patients are admitted. GTA KalimNews, Kalimpong, 19 June 2020: The number of people in home quarantine in the district of Darjeeling is 2923 and in Kalimpong district it is 1627, the tally of GTA area stands to 4550. Altogether there are 121 persons in 9 institutional facility quarantines of GTA. Today’s daily state bulletin stated that Darjeeling district has 248 confirmed cases of which 137 have recovered and 4 died while 107 are active cases. Similarly Kalimpong district has 48 confirmed cases of which 32 have recovered, 1 died and 15 are active cases. Alipurduar has 102 confirmed cases of which 36 have recovered while 66 are active cases. Jalpaiguri has 272 confirmed cases of which 137 have recovered and 135 are active cases.
