West Bengal appoints nodal officer for those willing to return back to the state

KalimNews Kalimpong, 3 May 2020:  Government of West Bengal has appointed a nodal officer for the residents of West Bengal who are working in other states and wants to come back to their home town but are stucked due the nationawide lockdown.

For the residents of GTA area, GTA has also made special provision for online registration for their return journey.

A series of procedures are to be followed during the return journey including medical screening check up, medical clearance, quarantine procedures, before and after the journey on leaving the place as well as entering an area along with availing "Shramik Special" trains in specific routes provided by the government which also has less number of and limited seats arranged following social distancing in the train.
