Covid-19 in the hills- Recovery and release rate is increasing compared to new suspected cases

Kalimpong, 13 April 2020, Kalimpong: As per the statement of daily report, today 2 persons are released from Covid 19 Hospital of Dr. Chang's Super speciality Hospital and of the two, one was referred from Disha Centre and another from Home quarantine and were under treatment at Dr. Chang's hospital. Currently only 2 patients are still in Dr. Chang's Hospital under Isolation.
The daily record signifies that in the two districts of darjeeling and Kalimpong, the recovery and release of suspected cases is increasing and it is higher than the admission of new suspected cases which is negligible and so far no such serious case is traced out. 

39 more asymptomic persons of Darjeeling district have completed quarantine period. They were in self quarantine and there are still 119 persons to complete it. Yesterday there were 158 persons in self quarantine. 
In Kalimpong district since 12 April 2020, 14 asymptometic people are moved at ITI, Upper Fagu in Gorubathan for quarantine. There are still 23 persons each in quarantine centres at Disha Centre and Marwari Bhawan of Kalimpong. Some of them are about to complete their quarantine period. Today's report states that 8 asymptomic persons completed their self quarantine in Kalimpong and there are still 181 persons to complete. 
There were 189 persons and a day before that day, there were 198 persons in self quarantine. Kalimpong is declared a hotspot zone but the recovery progress is very much encouraging and the control of the Covid 19 is very much under control. 
In the country the number of confirmed cases is 9352 with 324 deaths and 980 discharged, the highest cases is recorded in Maharashtra as 1985 confirmed cases with 149 deaths and 217 release after recovery. The next is Delhi with 1154 confirmed cases and 24 death and 27 recovery followed by Tamilnadu with 1075 confirmed case and 11 death with 50 discharged. Madhyapradesh has the second highest death counting to 43 deaths.    
The number of active Covid-19 cases in the state of West Bengal rose to 152, with another increase of 18 new cases. 
Of these 152 patients, 29 have been discharged after recovery. 
As of today at present 422 persons are admitted in hospital isolation. So far, 7 persons expired due to Covid-19. An official release of the West Bengal Health and family welfare department on Covid-19 states that 2793 samples are tested for Covid-19 in the state and 39178 persons are under home observation/surveillance and 17294 persons have completed surveillance. 2270 persons have been admitted under hospital isolation and so far 1848 persons have been discharged from hospital isolation after completing quarantine and testing negative. In the state there are 582 Institutional Quarantine Centres in which 11039 persons are kept in Institutional Quarantine (Cumulative) and so far 7081 persons have been released from Institutional Quarantine (Cumulative).
