8356 Covid 19 cases with 273 deaths- highest confirmed cases 1761 in Maharashtra
KalimNews, 12 April 2020, Kalimpong: Total number of Covid -19 positive cases in the country is increasing day by day. This morning it was 8356 confirmed Covid-19 cases with 273 death recorded so far. The highest number of confirmed Covid-19 positive cases are from Mahrashtra numbering 1761and 127 deaths.
The second highest is from Delhi counting 1069 positive cases and 19 death and the third is from Tamilnadu with 969 cases and 10 deaths. As per the number of death the second after Mahrashtra is MadhyaPradesh with 36 and the third is Gujrat with 22 deaths. Other states crossing 100 deaths are, TamilNadu - 969, Rajasthan - 700, Madhya Pradesh - 532, Telangana - 504, Uttar Pradesh - 452, Gujrat-432, Andhra Pradesh -381, Kerala - 364, Karnataka - 214, Jammu Kashmir -207, Haryana-177, Punjab - 151, and West Bengal - 134.
So far 716 have recovered from the illness and discharged from the hospital.
