According to him, it is necessary those working in travel industry of the country and in adjoining countries like Nepal and Bhutan should know about these developments.
At the event, several tour operators, transporters and hotel groups who work in Bengal have put up stalls, displaying different tourism products.
"We will also get feedback from buyers as what more is necessary to augment the tourist inflow in Bengal. Further, we will hold talks to promote an integrated circuit that can take tourists beyond the international borders to Nepal and Bhutan," said Sandipan Ghosh, secretary, EHTTOA..
