SDF sees red in SKM leader's speech, files FIR
SUJAL PRADHAN, EOI, Gangtok, 27 Dec 2018: Protesting the threatening speech of a member of the Sikkim Krantikari Morcha Gnathang - Machong Sikkim Democratic Front today organised a peace car rally.
The rally started from Pakyong and ended at Rolep village which later converted into picnic.
It is worth mentioning here that recently one video went viral on various social network sites wherein the SKM member was seen threatening saying " we will bring our government, we will do everything, but will bring our government".
The speech has been even referred to by Chief Minister Pawan Chamling.
Transport Minister cum Gnathang Machong constituency MLA D. T. Lepcha under whose leadership today's rally was organised in his address said:``If the party is talking in this line then what they will do to Sikkim in future. If they threaten this way now what they would do in future if they come to power. ''
He also warned the people to steer clear of such a party.
The SDF has even filed an FIR against Daney (Daniel Bhutia) retd Sub Jailor of Sikkim Jail for delivering the speech which they alleged was aimed at creating chaos and mayhem in the state.
