Blast in Siliguri hotel, two injured

Prashant Acharya, EOI, SILIGURI, 13 Oct 2017: An explosion reportedly took place at a hotel that is located in Pradhan Nagar of Siliguri today. Two workers of the hotel are said to be injured in the blast.

Sources report that the incident occurred because of a refrigerator explosion. After the blast, the roof of the hotel was blown away and a fire broke out, which was extinguished soon after.

The police reached the scene after being notified by the residents of the area. At present, the injured have been admitted to a hospital nearby.
