CM voices against religious stir, warns ration dealers
SNS, Jalpaiguri 28 March 2017: Without naming any political party the chief minister Mamata Banerjee today attacked a political party for its alleged religious instigation. Miss Banerjee was addressing a government's programme organised at a Sports Complex Ground in Jalpaiguri town today.
"Don't be trapped in the instigation that is being deliberately made in the name of religion," said she, adding that, one is free to visit the temple or mosque, regardless of his/her religious concerns.
She blamed the Central government for not keeping its promises before elections.
"Bengal government is a pro people's government," she said, adding, "Nobody's job in the Bengal government is at stake."
She also went on appreciating her government's various state projects like `Kannayashree'.
She warned the modified ration dealers, who allegedly distributed inedible rice and wheat. "The state government will not hesitate to cancel the licenses of such persons if they continue with their corrupt actions and malpractices," added the CM.
She also announced an allotment of fund of Rs 1 crore for the development of tea industry y She announced and inaugurated some government's projects.
