North fest- CM to visit Kalimpong on 22
TT, Siliguri, Dec. 26: Chief minister Mamata Banerjee will inaugurate Uttarbanga Utsav, the annual cultural programme of north Bengal, at Kanchenjungha stadium in Siliguri at the end of January.
Rabindranath Ghosh, the north Bengal development minister, said the exact date would be finalised once the chief minister returned from New Delhi.
Sources said Mamata was likely to visit Kalimpong on January 22 and return from the hills on January 24. They said she would inaugurate the cultural fest here during that visit.
