Wife finds husband to be cheating, arranges money to break his bones

TNN | Oct 5, 2016, KOLKATA: In a rather bizarre incident reported in the city, a 65-year-old woman asked a private investigation agency to 'break the hands and legs' of her 75-year-old husband as she wanted to 'teach him a lesson'.

The woman approached the employees of the agency, situated at Loudon Street, and laid out bundles of notes on the table amounting to Rs 50,000. She asked the present officials to arrange goons who would beat up her husband, who according to her, had been cheating on her.

Flabbergasted by the approach of the elderly woman and her story, the officials thought the woman was not in her senses or was mentally ill. But when she went ahead to describe her situation and the extra-marital affair of her husband, they found her story believable.

And the officials, after due investigation, found the husband to be cheating on her with the wife of a colleague.

The officials, after days of investigation, found that the husband would stand by his window at a particular time every day and a woman could be seen standing at their door at that precise moment. They would communicate for a few minutes in sign language after which the man would leave the house, saying he was going for a stroll.

The officials found that he then took a train to Garia and went to the lady's home where they spent some time together. They also informed the man's wife that he gave away a part of his pension money to the lady.
