Governor visits Darjeeling school

SNS | Kolkata | 25 October, 2016: Governor Keshari Nath Tripathi on Monday visited the Library of Holy Angels School,Gandhi Road, at Darjeeling. Teachers, students and nuns greeted him with traditional ‘Khada’. 
The children of the school also performed thier traditional dance. The Holy Angels School, a primary school for the under privileged students, established in 1972 has 140 students at present. The Library of the school contains more than 6000 books mostly contributed by Inner Wheel Club,Darjeeling. 
The governor said that he was overwhelmed at the achievements of the school and noted in the visitors’ book “I am happy to be here and may God bless the nuns, teachers and the students and give them strength to serve the Humanity”
