More leaders leave GJM and join AITMC.
PR, KalimNews, Kalimpong, 8 September 2016: Two past GNLF leaders and presently GJM members joined AITMC. Dhendup Bhutia Ex Vice President of Kalimpong Municipality and Secretary of Minority Cell GJM and Gaulan Lepcha Ex MLA and GJM member resigned from Gorkha Janmukti Morcha and joined AITMC on 7th September in Kolkata.
AITMC press release stated that accepting the principles and ideology of Trinamool Congress,constructive approach of Hon`ble Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee for all round development of Darjeeling Hill region n surrounding areas and protesting against provocative speeches of Morcha leaders against the minorities they joined AITMC. Aroop Biswas handed over the TMC flags to them and others in presence of Sri Rajen Mukhia,NB Khawas and Tshering Sherpa.
Beside Bhutia and Lepcha Sonam Bhutia, general secretary of 36 Constituency of GTA, GJM Youth, Budha Tamang, Bikas Thapa, Nawang Bhutia, Bhim Pradhan, Asif Ansari, Chewang Sherpa, Sonam Phentsho and Samuel Roka also resigned from GJM and joined AITMC.
