KalimNews, Jaldhaka, 9 September 2016: 5 families of Jholung have lost their houses and everything they have earned during their lifetime. Six houses were gutted in a fire at Jholung ground line on Thursday at about 12.05 pm. Nothing could be saved except two gas cylinders and their lives. 
There were no casualties but they are homeless and they have lost everything even their ration card and voters id card. Their children's birth certificate and others too were destroyed due to the fire that engulfed the complete colony of houses.
Due to dearth of water and fire fighting equipment nothing could be done though local residents and others saved houses close to them.
On the first day Sampat Agarwal and Jholung Mizpah Church provided food for the victim while Jholung Mizpah Church also provided beddings and clothings to the victims. Presently locals are providing food material to the victims through a relief committee formed for the aid of five families of fire victims consisting of 18 persons of which 6 are students. 
They have been provided tarpaulin by the local grampanchayat and nothing else is provided by government and other agencies.
