Gurung slams Mamata for dictatorship

31 Jan 2016: Gorkha Janmukti Morcha (GJM) chief Bimal Gurung slammed Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee for dictatorship rule in the state.
Gurung who was in Salugara near Siliguri to inaugurate All India Gurung (Tamu) Buddhist Association conference told media persons that 17 candidates from GJM will contest in the upcoming Assembly poll to fight against the Trinamool Congress led government.
He said that till date the party has not decided about making alliance with any political party but can join hands with Congress or Left Front just to defeat TMC.
He also said that the party will give tickets to the candidates belonging to all community including Muslim, Rajbonshi, Adivashi and others.
Gurung also informed that he will narrate all the issues of GTA area including tribal status for 11 communities in the tripartite meeting at Delhi. Though the meeting was schedule on 2nd February was postponed.
He said, "Party will make all efforts to defeat TMC in the assembly poll as the chief minister Mamata Banerjee is visiting hills every time to enforce divide and rule policy and people should be conscious about her motive."
