9 kg gold seized in Siliguri
Acting on a tip off, the officials intercepted a bus coming from Nepal border and caught hold of one Basant Sonar who had seven kgs of gold on his person and carrying two kgs of yellow metal in a bag.
The total seized gold was worth Rs.1.5 crore, they said.
