
Car accident near Khunia More one killed 5 injured

KalimNews, Kalimpong, 24 June 2015: One person was killed and 5 others were seriously injured during a major motor accident on the NH 31 near Khunia More in between Chalsa and Nagarkatta Wednesday afternoon .
During a head on collision between two Maruti Alto cars the driver of the car coming from Nagarkatta died while 4 others of the car returning towards Todey and one of the other car were seriously injured.
Jai bahadur Sannyasi 29 yr driver of the car coming from Nagarkatta died while rushing towards the hospital, the other one was also serious. The accident spot is about 11 Km away from Mal Bazar and 3 km from Nagarkatta .

Of the 4 occupants of the car of Todey which was returning from Mal Bazar the condition of one is serious while others suffer limb and other cut injury.
All injured were admitted in Mal Rural Hospital but considering their condition they were referred to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital in Siliguri. Some are admitted in a private nursing home and others to NBMCH.
