Fashion show to showcase Nepali tradition and custom
PRASHANT ACHARYA, EOI, Siliguri, 26 Oct 2014 : To promote the Nepali custom and tradition Rachana Boutique of
Bagdogra has decided to organize a grand fashion show in Siliguri where Nepali outfits will be showcased.
Alka Adhikari, a well-known fashion designer, told EOIC on Sunday that a fashion show will be organize on 1st January with the collaboration with the Japanese and American designers at Siliguri.
She said that interested models could contact with their profiles at the office of Boutique in airport Plaza, Upper Bagdogra. Alka said that chance will be given to the new comers to wear the American, Japanese and Indian mixed fashion outfits in the show.
Alka also said that she had been working to promote Nepali tradition and custom throughput the globe by organizing fashion shows and contests.
Few months ago Alka had participated in the USA Fashion Week and Patna Fashion Contest where she showcased the Nepali attires to promote the custom and tradition.
