Rajasthan police in Jalpaiguri to arrest asst manager
EOI, Jalpaiguri, 29 September: A team of the Rajasthan police force has come all the way to Bhagatpur tea estate here in Jalpaiguri to assistant manager arrest Rampuran Dubey on the charge of helping a cousin of his in eloping with a girl from Rajasthan two weeks ago and giving the couple refuge in his bungalow.
A source from the visiting team said they are here complying with the complaint lodged by the girl’s parents, but it has been found out the couple recently entered Nepal with Dubey’s help. However, the assistant manager could not be arrested as Bhagatpur tea estate manager Aboy Singh said Dubey has gone home on annual leave.
