Indo-Nepal journalists meet
EOI, Siliguri, 4 July 2014: Border journalists of India and Nepal today met in Siliguri to discuss about news and views sharing among each other.
A programme titled Indo-Nepal Journalists’ Meet’ was held at the Siliguri Journalists’ Club where it was decided to form a committee to work hand in hand. The meeting also decided to organise a grand programme in Kakarvitta very soon.
A coordination committee comprising six members was also formed to coordinate among scribes of the two nations.
SJC members Pramod Giri, Angshuman Chakraborty and Debasish Sarkar and Mechi Journalist Association members Mukti Poudyel, Raju Adhikari and Arjun Karki were selected as coordination committee members.
