NEW GTA PRINCIPAL SECRETARY NAMED
HT, 1 Jun 2014, DARJEELING: With the tenure of RD Meena as the principal secretary of the Gorkhaland Territorial Administration coming to an end on May 30, political circles are keeping a close tab on the state governments move to fill up the post.
Sources said that Meena will be replaced by Manoj Agarwal, IAS. Agarwal who is at present the secretary, North Bengal development ministry will be given additional charge as the chief secretary, GTA. He is scheduled to take charge on June 2. Meena had had taken charge as principal secretary of the GTA on May 6, 2013 following the intervention of the Calcutta High Court.
