TMC to field former MP Nakul Das Rai from Sikkim
Prashant Acharya, EOI, Siliguri, 15 March 2014: Nakul Das Rai, a former Member of Parliament from Sikkim, has been nominated as the Trinamool Congress candidate for the Sikkim MP seat.
The decision was taken in Kolkata today at party meeting. Trinamool Congress All India general secretary Mukul Roy announced that TMC has finalized Nakul Das Rai as the candidate for the Lok Sabha Election 2014 from Sikkim.
Rai was expelled from SDF after he joined the anti-graft movement by Anna Hazare and had recently joined TMC.
