Kalimpong with new officers
KalimNews, Kalimpong, 19 September: Kalimpong's administration will be looked after by the new heads of the general administration and police administration.
Just after a couple of week of the transfer of the Kalimpong SDO the ASP of Kalimpong is also transferred. Reshuffling is being continued not only in Kalimpong but in the whole of the Darjeeling Hills.
K Kannan took over as the new ASP for Kalimpong sub-division yesterday replacing Songmit Lepcha.
The news SDO and a BDO had recently assumed charge after the transfer of previous officers.
Songmit Lepcha has been posted as the Commanding Officer of the 10th battalion of the state armed police force in Siliguri.
