Deb leaves event displeased with behaviour of students

EOI, Siliguri, 26 Jul 2013: North Bengal Development minister Gautam Deb was today forced to leave from a Nepali-medium school in Ashrampara, Siliguri without participating in an event in honour of poet Bhanu Bhakta Acharya because of alleged unruly behaviour shown by some students.
The minister was present as the chief guest, but sources informed he left the school in a huff utterly displeased with the behaviour of the students. Before leaving, Deb reportedly urged the school authority to teach proper etiquette to the students.
The minister’s departure caused huge embarrassment to the school’s faculty and dulled the entire celebrations, informed the sources.
