NGO formed in the rural area of Gumbadara

KalimNews: Local youths of Gumbadara area are now keenly interested to do social works in their area by forming an NGO. These enthusiastic persons having social commitments under Lava-Gitbeong G.P.of Kalimpong-II Block, and Algarah,Rishop etc met at Gumbadara for the formation of one NGO. They have decided to carry forward their objective by forming the NGO Himashish. 

They are meeting together once again and have invited Somnath De an advocate from Kolkata high court who gives free legal advises to such NGOs. Initially, the NGO Himashish will work on the matters related to health,education,self-employment,environment,solar energy,agriculture etc said Kunal Rai and Prakash Chhetri. 

A meeting will again be held on 23rd June 2013 for volunteer social workers of the area at Salakha Guest House, Gumbadara. Interested people are invited to contact Advocate Somnath at 9433726274. Those students doing graduation in social welfare, sociology, rural development, anthropology, human rights, political science interested to join such NGOs or such activities may also contact him a report stated.
