Nephew arrested for murder of aunt

KalimNews, Kalimpong 25 November: Investigating on the murder of Yangchhen Bhutia (62) of 10th Mile Gumbahatta Kalimpong, police arrested her nephew. Kalimpong Police suspected Lekshang Namgyal Bhutia(26) for the murder.

After a thorough enquiry on the murder case Kalimpong Police could succeed in solving the murder case by arresting Lekshang under section 302 IPC. According to police and sources, accused Lekshang use to demand money from his aunt and on denying he use to have altercation with his aunt. On the night of the murder also there was some altercation between the two. When there was a big chaos neighbours tried to interfere in the matter to but both aunt and nephew persuaded others to leave their matter within themselves and not to interfere.

And on the next day that is 20th November the lady Bhutia was found murdered in a suspicious state, Bholanath Pandey ASP Kalimpong stated.Her body was half naked probably to divert the attention from murder to rape by the murderer. Police found pieces of broken bottles in the room and suspected a case of death by beating and strangulation. Murdered lady use to stay with her 92 year old partially blind mother.
