WBSSC reopens edit window for SLST candidates until October 11

PTI, Oct 10, 2026, Kolkata: The West Bengal School Service Commission (WBSSC) has reopened its edit window until October 11 for candidates who appeared for the second State Level Selection Test (SLST), 2025, for Classes IX and X to update their OBC sub-category, Unreserved and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) details.

In a notice, the commission said it had received a large number of requests from candidates seeking another opportunity to update their details. Candidates can log in to the commission’s website, www.westbengalssc.com, select the ‘EDIT’ option and choose the relevant category from the drop-down menu. They must then enter the applicable certificate number and the name of the issuing authority in the designated fields.

School Education Minister Dipak Barman urged candidates to update their details within the stipulated period, warning that no further opportunity would be provided.

“No further representations or requests for an extension in this regard will be entertained under any circumstances because we want to expedite the declaration of results and complete the recruitment process,” he said.
