The permissible rates for various treatments under the West Bengal Health Scheme have been revised recently.
All government employees and pensioners covered under WBHS and their eligible dependents/beneficiaries will be able to avail the benefits on or after October 1. However, other terms and conditions of the health scheme will remain unchanged.
As per the new guidelines, cashless treatment facility up to a maximum of Rs 5 lakh will be available for a single admission to any hospital.
