NH-10 Heavy vehicle Traffic Restrictions for Supercar Rally and Silk Route Drive in Sikkim
The event, which is part of a broader initiative to revive and highlight Sikkim's rich history along the ancient Silk Route, is aimed at elevating the state's profile in the tourism and motorsport sectors. The convoy will travel through Rangpo, Nathu La, and Gnathang Valley, with the route cleared for the safe passage of these luxury vehicles, which are expected to make a striking visual impact as they traverse Sikkim’s breathtaking alpine landscapes.
To ensure safety and prevent disruption, NHIDCL (National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited) has issued a formal notification restricting the movement of heavy goods vehicles on NH-10. The restricted section of the highway extends from Km 20.0 (27th Mile) to Km 27.0 (Teesta Bazaar), with restrictions taking place at the following times:
