Since the Kolkata Police has taken charge, and when the Commissioner says he doesn’t want her to come forward and speak at the moment, we respect that decision and don’t wish to trouble her further,” Pal clarified.

Despite this assurance, the lack of a public statement or appearance by the victim continues to fuel discussions in political and civil society circles. While the police claim she is safe and protected, the absence of verifiable information has left many questioning the transparency of the investigation and the overall handling of the situation.
