Trinamool Worker Shot Dead in Broad Daylight; Police Commissioner Transferred in Aftermath

The following day, Barrackpore Police Commissioner Alok Rajoria was removed from his position and transferred to the post of DIG Traffic. Ajay Thakur has been appointed as the new Commissioner of Police for Barrackpore, while SP Traffic, Raj Narayan Mukherjee, has also been reassigned to the Second Battalion.

The tragic incident of Yadav’s murder is part of a growing list of similar attacks on Trinamool Congress workers across various districts, including Malda and North 24 Parganas.
