The incident occurred on the railway line between Nimtita and Sujanipara stations in the Kayadanga Notunpara area of Suti on the morning of February 13, 2025.
Renu Bibi, a mother of four, was reportedly struggling with family unrest caused by her inability to repay a bond loan installment. According to sources, the constant pressure from the unpaid loan led to her mental distress. On the morning of the incident, she tragically decided to take her life by jumping in front of the moving train around 9:30 am.
Police from the Suti Police Station and railway officials arrived at the scene shortly after the tragic event. Authorities confirmed that the impact of the train resulted in her body being severed. The family is devastated by the loss of the mother and wife, who had been facing emotional struggles due to financial difficulties.
The community has been left in shock over the tragedy, shedding light on the devastating effects of financial stress and the need for greater support for individuals facing emotional and financial hardships, especially those struggling with loan repayments and family pressures.
