Kolkata Doctors Renew Protests Over CBI Charge Sheet in RG Kar Case

The protests are organized by three prominent medical and nursing associations, which have called for a march from Karunamayi to the CGO complex on Saturday afternoon. The charge sheet claims that Sanjay Rai acted alone in the horrific rape-murder incident, a conclusion that has been met with widespread skepticism among senior doctors. After 55 days of investigation, they suggest that one individual is responsible, despite the post-mortem report indicating the involvement of more than one person," stated a senior physician involved in the protests.

In addition to the planned march, the protesting medical professionals have announced a blood donation camp in memory of the victim, scheduled for Wednesday morning at RG Kar Medical College.
