The incident occurred at Nima Hospital, located in the Jaitpur area, where two teenagers allegedly shot the doctor at point-blank range before fleeing the scene.
According to reports, the two teenagers arrived at the hospital around 1:30 a.m., seeking treatment for injuries. After receiving first aid from the doctor on duty, they requested to meet him again. Upon meeting, they shot the doctor at close range, fatally wounding him.
Hospital staff rushed to the scene after hearing gunshots and found the doctor, identified as Dr. Javed, lying in a pool of blood. The accused had already fled the premises. CCTV footage is being reviewed to identify the attackers.
Police sources revealed that the suspects had visited the hospital previously, on October 1, for treatment. However, the motive behind the murder remains unclear. Authorities have launched a full-scale investigation and are working to track down the suspects.
The incident has raised serious concerns about the safety and security of medical professionals in hospital environments.
