KalimNews, September 17, Darjeeling : In a heartfelt ceremony at St. Joseph's School, Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang-Golay was honored during a Felicitation Programme held on 16 September that celebrated his visionary leadership and contributions to the community.
The event recognized the Chief Minister's pivotal role in the construction of a foot overbridge on the school campus, significantly enhancing the safety and convenience of students.
Mr. Tamang-Golay, who shares a deep-rooted connection with the institution as a former student and an alumni parent, reflected on his emotional ties to Darjeeling and the school. "Each visit rekindles cherished memories and strengthens the eternal connection I hold with this beautiful place and its esteemed institution," he expressed.

During the program, the school also recognized alumni Aditya Golay and Prabhakar Golay for their contributions.
