Organised by Kalimpong District Police in collaboration with: Neora Valley Sustainable Ecological Society (Muhaan)

Freedom Run is an annual running event organized by the Kalimpong District Police in collaboration with the Neora Valley Sustainable Ecological Society and Muhaan. 

The 3rd edition of the Kalimpong Freedom Run 2024 awaits you in the pristine Neora Valley, with its immense potential for adventure and nature-based tourism! Come join the first-ever running experience which brings together a holistic experience of community, culture, nature, and sustainability. 

In addition to the half marathon and various runs, the event will feature a wide array of activities like mountain biking, workshops, film screenings, music performances, and eco-exhibitions all set against the backdrop of mesmerizing forests of Neora Valley. 

This one day immersive experience is more than just a race—it's a celebration of nature and community.

Run Details: 5 km, 10 km, 21 km   Age categories :  10 and above (Male-Female) in Three categories

Category 1:   5 km

Age categories - (10-16) years - Male-Female

16 above - Male-Female

*Participation of Police/ Paramilitary/ Army personnel are not allowed to participate in the 5 km Run
