Jaldhaka Students on National Integration Tour Meet President of India
The delegation, consisting of nine boys and nine girls from Classes IX and X, was accompanied by teachers Bikash Thapa and Arundhawti Basu. The eleven-day journey was flagged off on 21st July from Jaldhaka. After four days, on 25th July, they met the President and are continuing the tour. The team also present a souvenier to the President.
During their visit, the students had the privilege of interacting with President Murmu and sharing memorable moments with her. The President's inspiring words and encouragement had a profound impact on the students, motivating them to pursue excellence and contribute positively to society and the nation. Two students, Anuradha Sharma and Bidhan Rai, also had the opportunity to share their travel experiences with the President.
Jaldhaka High School extends its heartfelt gratitude to the 5th Rajputana Rifles of the 20th Mountain Division of Binnaguri for selecting their school for this prestigious National Integration Tour.
Earlier this year, on 18 March, students from Gairibas Higher Secondary School in the Jaldhaka region also had the privilege of meeting the President under the same programme.
