3921 candidates from Kalimpong district appearing in Madhyamik Examination

KalimNews, Kalimpong, 30 JANUARY 2024 : A total of 3921 candidates will appear from the 5 centres of Kalimpong District in the Madhyamik Examination in West Bengal, to begin from February 2.
In the 17 venues or sub centres of five centres, namely Kumudini Homes, Chandraaya HS School, Shankar HS School, Gairibas HS School and Juddhabir HS School, examinees will appear in the Madhyamik Pariksha 2024 examination. 
Among them, there are 1937 male and 1984 female examinees. There are 1715 male and 1890 female regular candidates. There are 116 male and 63 female continuing candidates as well as 26 male and 31 female compartmental candidates. 
Dinesh Sharma, Coordinator of the Examination in the district said that all necessary arrangements had been completed for the smooth conduct of the examination. 
It is noteworthy to mention that this year, the timing of the examination is changed and the examination would begin at 9.45 a.m.
The venues are Kumudini Homes, SUM Institution, Kalimpong Girls HS School, Government H School, St. Philomenas Girls HS School, Pranami Balika Vidhya Mandir; Chandramaya HS School, Algarah HS School, St. George HS School, Pagang Gumba HS School; Shankar HS School, Gitdabling HS School; Gairibas HS School, Jaldhaka HS School; Juddhabir HS School, Bagrakote HS School and Ambiok HS School.
