LPG biometric Re-KYC possible through self Authentication using Two Apps

KalimNews, Kalimpong, 19 December 2023 : Indane LPG gas customers can update their KYC themselves and they can opt for not to visit the dealers office. Indane has started to update and accept consumers ReKYC with the help of two online Apps. For submitting Re-KYC, consumers has to download and install two Apps.

These two Apps are IndianOilONE and AadharFaceRd (Early Access). These apps should be installed in the mobile of the consumer with the same SIM that is used to book the LPG and used for linking the Aadhar UID.

In the online mode the consumer after installation of the app IndianOilONE, has to enroll and sign up by registering (if not yet done for online gas booking) through providing mobile number, email id, first and second name of the consumer. Then one has to enter the OTP sent to the registered mobile number and create a password and entering it twice as in other cases (with 6 characters- at least one number, one alphabet and one special character). LPG ID and Consumer number and distributors name and details will be authenticated accordingly.

After completing the sign up process one has to login the IndianOilONE and through My Profile menu the consumer has to enter into "ReKYC" button and face scan. If the face scan is completed successfully it will lead to Aadhar authentication and completes the authentication by submitting the process.

Authentication using facial biometrics through these Apps is highly secure, easy for the user, and compliant with regulations.
