Hill Congress leaders meet Rahul Gandhi

YOWAN MOTHAY, EOI, KALIMPONG, DECEMBER 26, 2023 : A team of Hill Congress leaders on Tuesday met Congress leader Rahul Gandhi in Delhi. West Bengal Pradesh Congress Committee president Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury accompanied the team.

WBPCC general secretary Binoy Tamang was also part of the team. The hill leaders apprised Rahul Gandhi of various problems facing the hills of Darjeeling.

There was an intense discussion on the problems facing the hills. Rahul Gandhi promised that the Congress-led alliance would win the Darjeeling seat in the Lok Sabha election of 2024 and help solve these problems.

Binoy Tamang said in the meeting he again requested Rahul Gandhi to visit Darjeeling and north Bengal along with his family and other Congress leaders.
