Boy murdered by father in Siliguri

EOI, SILIGURI, 2 OCT 2023 : In a shocking incident at Nishchintapur Tea Estate under Matigara police station a man allegedly murdered his son by stabbing him with a sharp weapon.

Following the incident, the accused, identified as Kutanu Sabar (55), a tea plantation worker, was arrested.

According to police, Kutanu’s son Vishal Sabar was a heavy drinker and indulged in fights with his mother and father.

A few days ago, Vishal allegedly assaulted his father in an inebriated state and injured him severely.

On Sunday night, Vishal arrived home in an intoxicated state and started assaulting his father. Unable to withstand the frequent tortures, the father stabbed his son in the neck with a sharp weapon. Vishal died on the spot.
