IGP, CRPF Manipur and Nagaland sector and Rajni Datta, Sector Head, CRPF Wives Welfare Association called on the Governor of Manipur
Governor suggested the IGP, CRPF Manipur and Nagaland sector and the CRPF Wives Welfare Association to assist the relief camps in every possible manner as a support to the state machinery’s effort in helping the violence affected people.
A team of seven members of Ekta Parishad from Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Manipur led by Ran Singh Parmar called on the Governor of Manipur and discussed ways and means of initiating dialogue across the communities in Manipur. They elaborated that the Ekta Parishad and its collaborators in Manipur and rest of India may help in the Manipur Government peace-making process. The Governor expressed her gratitude for the initiative and has appealed all to do their bits in bringing peace and harmony in the state at the earliest and also urged the team to visit the relief camps set up at various parts of the state.
Sapam Kunjakeswor Singh, MLA Patsoi AC along with the parents of the missing minors from Tera, Imphal West and Takyel, Patsoi met the Governor for the second time and urged to speed up the tracing of the minors as the time is crucial in tracing and locating them.
Miss Anusuiya Uikey expressed her sadness about the incident and informed the parents that all measures by the State police (Bishnupur, Imphal and Churachandpur) to trace the minors are in place and to keep faith in the system. She also said that she prays for the two teenagers since she heard the news.
