Consistent hard work gave me the result I deserved: Kalimpong district topper of Madhyamik Pariksha

KalimNews, Kalimpong, 19 May 2023: Avinam Gurung a son of a farmer of a remote village is the Kalimpong District topper in Madhyamik Pariksha 2023. 
Avinam Gurung has secured the first rank in the Kalimpong District by scoring 81.86% with a grand total of 573 marks out of 700. Avinam is a student of Gairibas Higher Secondary School in the 45 no Constituency of GTA and a resident of Mansingtar, Lower Godak near Bindu in the Todey Tangta Gram Panchayat of Gorubathan Block in the district of Kalimpong.  
The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education has declared the Madhyamik Pariksha result 2023 today. A total of 5,65,428 candidates have passed the exams, and the overall passing percentage stands at 86.15%. 
Kalimpong has secured the second highest percentage of students passing in this examination in the state. Out of 3270 examinees in the district appeared in the Madhyamik Pariksha the pass percentage was 94.13%. 
Amongst the Districts, East Midnapore has topped with a pass percentage of 96.81% followed by Kalimpong. Kolkata has become the third topper with an overall pass percentage of 93.75%.
Almost in all the schools of Kalimpong district, the pass percentage is cent percent. 
In the district of Kalimpong Avinam is followed by Keshar Rai of Kalimpong Girls Higher Secondary School with 80.2 % and by Samay Mukhia of St. George's HS School by scoring 80%, probably the third position holder in the district.
Avinam scored 96 in Physical Science and is keen to take Pure science in the Higher Secondary course.
Second son of farmer Kamal and Kamala Gurung, Avinam gives his credit of success to his uncle, aunt, parents, family members and his school teachers who helped and supported him for his progress in studies. 
He says that he really worked hard with consistency and that lead him to his success. He wants to serve his country and society in near future. He insisted that studies is a collective effort so its not only due to my hardwork but its combined  result of the cooperation of teachers, parents and guardians. It also depends upon the company one keeps. 
I started my preparation from the very beginning of the year and kept my hard work consistent which led me to this success.
