Accused in Roshan Lama's murder arrested: produced in court

KalimNews, Kalimpong, 2 May 2023:The accused in the Gorkha National Liberation Front leaders murder is arrested by Kalimpong Police. Tshering Sherpa was arrested and produced in the Kalimpong District Court and sent to judicial custody today.
This morning Tshering was arrested from Rangpo checkpost for the murder of GNLF leader Roshan Lama. Police is investigating the motive behind the murder. Police will also take statement of the wife of the deceased leader, the key witness of the murder. 
Lama's post mortem was completed at Kalimpong District Hospital and handed over to his family for the last rites.
Roshan hailed from Upper Neyong Merong of Pedong and was killed on Monday night. 
Deceased Roshan and his family were returning back from Rangpo in the evening of 1st May in his vehicle while his vehicle had a minor accident with a motorbike at Ramdhura near Burmaik Deorali. After the incident of accident there was a scuffle with the biker.  
Accused Tshering Sherpa brutally attacked Roshan and pushed him off the road down the cliff causing serious injuries all over his body, including his head, while his arms and legs were fractured. After the incident, the accused fled from the spot.
Family members rescued Lama from the spot and brought his body to the Kalimpong District Hospital where he was declared brought dead. 
Police seized a motorbike from the place of the incident and after making raids the accused Tshering Sherpa was arrested..
