NBU installs CCTV surveillance in university campus
Don't Miss
The project which was flagged off in 2017 was finally completed a month ago and was under trial run from the last month. High-speed and secure internet access with a single sign-on(SSO) mechanism for authorization is now accessible for the entire university community in all the academic and administrative establishments, hostels, auditoriums as well as in the areas of significant footfall.
For ensuring better security of the campus, more than250 CCTVs have been installed at different points of the campus.
“We are happy to rollout the free Wi-Fi service in each corner of the academic and administrative zones and hostels. Increased coverage and improved quality of CCTV will ensure conducive campus life with a healthy academic atmosphere in the university”, said the Vice Chancellor.
“Scholars and teachers of the University can access NBU subscribed resources from any location in the globe with the high speed internet service round the clock,” Head of Centre for Information and Resource Management Anirban Biswas added.
