Kingpin of online sex racket surrenders in court, arrested

Belonging to Begusarai in Bihar, the accused was running a prostitution racket by creating an online website.
On December 22,2022, three people, including a woman, were arrested by the Siliguri Women’sPolice Station in Siliguri.
Interrogating them, the name of the kingpin came to light as the main leader of the gang. However, he had been absconding for a long time. A team from the Siliguri Women’s Police Station went to Bihar in search of him and tried to nab him with the help of Bihar Police but failed.
Finally, on February 20, the kingpin surrendered before a Siliguri Court. He was remanded to police custody for seven days.
