Body of Group D school employee found, had lost job under court order

EOI, SILIGURI, MARCH 13, 2023: The body of a former Group D employee of a school in Siliguri was found in his rented house in the Deshbandhu Para area on Sunday. He had recently lost his job as per a court order.

Dilip Biswas (45) was learnt to have been working as Group D employee of a school in the Haldibari area of Cooch Behar district. He joined the service in 2018.His permanent residence was in the Domohani area of Moynaguri in the Jalpaiguri district but he used to stay in a rented house in Deshbandhu Para in Siliguri.

His body was found in the bedroom of the rented house. The autopsy was carried out at North Bengal Medical College Hospital on Monday afternoon. The police are investigating the incident.
