Darjeeling Himalyan Rly train derails

MP | 24 Feb 2023 | Darjeeling: A Darjeeling Himalayan Railway train derailed on Friday afternoon at Goethals Siding near Kurseong.
No one was injured in the incident. According to sources the diesel locomotive was towing a “dead” steam engine for repairs and taking it to the Tindharia workshop from Darjeeling when the accident occurred.
Only the “dead” steam engine was derailed, said sources.
