Vikrun Foundation sponsors runners in Kalimpong Marathon

YAWAN GURUNG, EOI, MIRIK, NOVEMBER 6, 2022: Vikrun Foundation, Darjeeling, which has been promoting healthy lifestyle in the hills has sponsored eight runners in the Kalimpong Marathon.

Among them were Hemant Limboo and Som Bahadur Thami from Rimbik, Tshering Lhamu Bhutia from Darjeeling in the 50-km run, two sisters from Kizom Busty Bijanbari Samjhana Subba and Bandana Subba who have stood first and second in he 21-km category, Ajay Rai and Amit Balmiki from Vikrun Foundation who came fourth and fifth in the full marathon category and Mongia who has completed his run in the 21-km category.

VikRun Foundation owner Vikram Rai said on Sunday: “Our foundation has always supported runners from rural Darjeeling and we will continue to support them for all national and international events.
