Speeding Bolero crashes into Teesta river bank, driver injured

Accident in NH10, driver injured 

YOWAN MOTHAY | EOI | KALIMPONG, SEPTEMBER 8, 2022: A Bolero traveling from Siliguri to Singtam in Sikkim met with an accident at Mile 11 on National Highway 10. The driver of the vehicle who was injured was rescued and sent to hospital. 
The police said the accident took place at 10 a.m. The vehicle fell 100 metres on the bank of river Teesta. 
The driver was rescued from the over turned vehicle. It was suspected that the vehicle was speeding on the hill road. 
The police said they were carrying out various awareness programmes against speeding by drivers of vehicles. Speed control lights and mirror boards had been installed in different places to prevent accidents. Many drivers were, however, ignoring the warnings
